CBM Services Board of Directors adopted its Corporate Compliance Plan on August 18, 2000.   This plan puts our client at ease to know that we have the necessary checks and balances to ensure that data received from them is accurate and safeguarded.  CBM Services also has a Business Associate Agreement available for our clients in order to maintain Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance.  We have policies & procedures in place to ensure protection of personal and/or health information.

Collectors are provided with videotapes, audiotapes and seminars on telephone collecting and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).  The training takes place through an extensive 30 day training program which calls attention to compliance with state and federal laws.  We have a bi-weekly meeting to discuss any change in production and compliance issues.  The collectors are also continually tested and monitored for compliance.  CBM also has our computer uniquely programmed to stop collectors from making calls at improper times and places as well as providing access to state and federal laws at their fingertips.
